Opening of the BOVET 1822 Boutique in Taipei (Taiwan)

BOVET 1822 began the year 2010 by pushing forward with its growth. The majority of the investments over the past three years have been dedicated to vertical integration of its production with the acquisition, by Mr Pascal Raffy, of Dimier 1738, Manufacture de Haute Horlogerie Artisanale, the Château de Môtiers and lastly of Dimier 1738 Manufacture de Cadrans et Sertissages. Mr Raffy did so while continuously managing the spread of the exclusive global distribution network and opportunites for expansion.

It is with this objective that the second BOVET boutique was inaugurated on April 8, 2010 in Taipei, with close ties to the roots of BOVET’s commercial past, which began in the 1800’s in Canton.

Situated in the vicinity of the iconic Taipei 101 building, the BOVET boutique occupies a prestigious building in the heart of the commercial center of Taipei. The showroom, conference room and VIP area are spread across more than 300 m² (3200 sq ft) that allow for an intimate reception which is personal to each guest and offers the opportunity to view the complete collection exposed in a traditional and elegant setting.

Among the eighty guests present at the inauguration, the main partners of BOVET in Asia were in attendence, while Mr and Mrs Pascal Raff were joined by Mrs Pearl Wu, from the Municipal Council of Taipei.

With this new boutique, BOVET seals its historic partnership with this region and forges its future ties with Chinese Haute Horlogerie collectors.
